About Us

Diane Byington
Lifetime Wellness, Inc. is devoted to encouraging health in all four bodies: the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual areas of life.

Lifetime Wellness, Inc., was founded in 1999 by Diane Byington, Ph.D., LCSW. She has been an organizational consultant, psychotherapist, and social worker for nearly 30 years. Her focus has always been on creating health, and eliminating the barriers to wellness. She has been on the faculty of several universities, and currently teaches part-time at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. She has been actively interested in the mind-body field since the 1980s. She created a course called “Mind-Body Connections and Social Work Practice” in 1996 that the Dean has credited as being “the most popular course in the history of the School.” She has taught that course consistently since that time, and regularly trains other professionals to use mind-body techniques.

In 1997, Diane had a sports accident that left her with an acute sensitivity to stress. She has identified a number of techniques that have helped her to minimize the effects of stress, and as President of Lifetime Wellness, Inc., she passes those techniques on to others.
